very unfair on Gavin that, who said it was him who picked Skeete. Reading between the lines of Frankies tweets he just wants to get winning the lonsdale out the way and move on ASAP.

This is not a step-up in any way you choose to look at it.

Not that bad of a fight. So far in the pro's Frankie hasn't fought a tall rangy fighter, I'm sure it will be good experience for him and I'm personally looking forward to how he deals with Skeete's style.

Prudent. Milk that zero while you can, no hurry to cash in just yet so long as you can enjoy the ride and somehow keep getting back on television despite nobody wanting to watch you.

also why take this fight when he can just wait for gavin to vacate and get more money and probably easier fight for the title.

This is a terrible match up for Gavin, Skeete is a good prospect but theres only one winner and a big step back from Denton Vassell.

I suspect he wants to gaurentee that Lonsdale belt, but he needs to be moved on quick there shouldnt be nay time wasted with people like Skeete or Heffron i would of liked to have seen him go straight for the European title.

What does this fight do for your career? Impossible to see how it advances you going forward.

For the sake of one more fight against a British opponent it gets the prestige and achievement of winning the Lonsdale belt outright.

I see and appreciate the reasoning behind it.

Some tits on here. A few months ago gavin was getting slated for not being active enough and now getting hammered for fighting skeete so soon after his fight against Vassell,
He wants to own the belt outright so skeete isn't the worst opponent in the world for this purpose.
Keep being as busy as you can frankie mate and good luck!
