Arum will try to milk that money cow dry in Macau till the end of his career. I don't think the Chinese fans care if he's facing 0-30 or 30-0 boxers.

I scored the main event for Shiming same as all 3 judges, 5-1 rounds, 59-55 points, I gave Ortega the 5th round, I am sure the judges did too. Shiming started pretty well I thought, decent movement, good activity, some nice combinations, but Ortega wasn't really up to much. But Shiming started gassing in the 4th, and in the last 2 rounds he was completely spent, he lost his technique, and he got hit with an awful lot of decent shots. So, no power, no stamina, and poor defense especially in latter rounds, although for the entire fight he stood square in the pocket and would have been easy for any experienced boxer to hit. Roach is surely the WRONG trainer for ANY amateur boxer starting out as a professional, but he is ESPECIALLY wrong for Shiming, and I don't see Shiming ever improving as a pro as long as he is with Roach. But it probably doesn't matter, not as long as he keeps winning against soft touches and can headline these great Macau cards.
