here's the fact, calzaghe would have always beat jones because joe would have never stepped in the ring with jones anywhere near his prime.

Look at Calzaghe best wins

Schooled Lacy, but so did Taylor and shot Jones.

Taylor and Dawson did much better against old, past Hopkins than Calzaghe did (and didn't get dropped by the old man either lol). Pascal didn't do any worse in the first Hopkins fight than Calzaghe did.

Kessler got totally dominated, schooled and beaten from pillar to post by Ward, were as Calzaghe struggled.

Plenty of fighters could beat Calzaghe.
