Another easy fight for Kell, Senchenko is very average how he won a world title is beyond me look how bad he was schooled by Paulie, Christ why is Eddie protecting him so much, something tells me he doesn't believe Kell is top level or else he would put him in with the likes of Ortiz, amazing how a guy has 30 fights and not one top name on his record to think Mayweather was a world champion after 18 fights, or look at Chisora who he has fought in his 21 fights, actually sick of Kell Brook biggest ***** in boxing fight someone decent Kell ffs

After Senchenko beat Hatton, it was virtually nailed on that Hearn would find a way of putting him up against Brook.

Hearn praising Senchenko and making him out to be better than he is, is basically wasted on any fan that knows anything about boxing.

And he has the gaul to turn around and say hes not a mug and wont treat fans like mugs either ... hmm

Agreed. Its a shame as he is doing a good job, but how is someone that Malignaggi stopped nearly 2 years ago a step up for Brook? Plus that and with Froch/Groves blatantly going to be PPV he isn't endearing himself to the fans.

Yep, this just about wraps it up for Brook as a serious contender. There was never much more than a snowball's chance in hell he'd have beaten Alexander, but this confirms it for everyone. Hugely disappointing contest.

5 years later and Brook is still faffing about. I've long since given up on him. He has no real desire to go along with his obvious talent.

Has any fighter ever sat fighting nobodies for so long, 27 aint young as fast car saids, Brooke will fail at world level i'd bet on it, thats why they haven't stepped him up i dont think eddie believes kell can go to the top so is trying to milk him for all he is worth, frank ****** gets a lot of stick but i bet if Brook stayed with him he would have fought for a world title by now, leave the alexander situation aside he should have fought for one before then anyway to many final eliminators and mandatory nothing fights

I'm aware that there is a large age gap, but canelo fought perceived easy opponents until very recently and he got hyped much more than Kell has.

Not trying to claim Senchenko is any sort of world beater but if Kell gets him out, and looks impressive doing it, then surely 2014 will bring much higher calibre of opponents.

Go and watch the fight again stupid it was clear as day he was unsetteled by the cut and to paulies credit he latched onto it, if ever there was a rematch the result would be very different.
I think Kell is in for a very hard night work

Because Malinaggi is one of my favourite non British boxers, style and personality wise{and more so than some of ours}this is something I don't like to hear. But the truth sometimes hurts and Im afraid Billy could be spot on here. That one might have flattered Paul and done Senchenko no justice. The Hatton of old may well have beat him,but that version still looked good to me,and Senchenko looked good.He would be Kells best opponent by a long way,and hopefully a bit of a springboard.Sure as hell needs it as his career has been standing still.

Malignaggi was outboxing him from the opening bell, what excuse did Senchenko have for losing the rounds before the swelling and cut.He couldnt deal with the speed and variation of Paulies attacks, hed get through with the odd jab but that was about it.Although technically sound like I said before Senchenko is very mechanical and one dimensional.Paulies style was just all wrong for him,the fact that Paulie went to his home town and basically took him apart tells you all you need to know about the gap in class between the two.

I think Senchenko is decent but Brook will beat him quite handily and if he doesnt hel have to think long and hard about where he goes from there.

Malignaggi has no power due to brittle hands, probably his only flaw. People write him off as if he is a complete no mark!! The guy went 12 rounds with prime Cotto and the man f the moment Broner couldn't stop him and Paulies at he end of his career. Paulie is an excellent all round fighter and has won a couple of world titles.

Senchenko is far from great he is pretty average but Kell hasn't been in with anyone to gauge where he is at. I think Brook by wide UD.

For the posters that think Brook right now would beat Ortiz at WW you really must be mental!! Brook struggles with Carson Jones relentless pressure he would he hold up against Ortiz, the man fighs every second of the round and as a fantastic engine. (Dont bring u the Maidana fight that was an age ago!!)
