Do you think Lomachenko could be a world champion one day? It's certainly possible. But as we all know, amateur boxing is a different animal than the pros. Also, he's fighting in a 10-rounder in his debut. Do you think that's too much, too soon?

All depends on his management/promotion. He's with Top Rank so I'm sure they will do a good job.

He wants to fight for a World Title in his 2nd fight and beat the world record which is 3 fights. Rumour has it he is fighting Jose Ramirez (25-3) on his debut.

Top Rank definitely sees the potential in him they won't let it go to waste.

    That's a serious crazy/gutsy risk he's willing to take.

No joke. I thought initially he was going to "wait" until his 7th or 8th fight because he wanted to one-up Rigo, but it turns out he wants the world record for himself. He wasn't kidding about not wasting time.

He could waste his entire career.

It looks like he's going for Ramirez first, then the Salido-Cruz winner in his second fight. That shows you the confidence his team have in him.

Really looking forward to seeing if he can pull this off, this could be history in the making.
