    Thurman is slapping with hooks as he circles around Chaves. Overhand right by Thurman, countered by a hook-2 from Chaves. Thurman hooks backing up. Double jab by Thurman. Clinch. Another double jab from Thurman. Chaves squats and jabs the body. Chopping right by Chaves, missing as Thurman ducks and rises with a huge counter left hook that physically jolts Chaves in his boots yet registers no emotion on his face and doesn't even make him blink. Diego has CHEEN. Thurman is keeping his guard up and leaving Chaves plenty of target downstairs, which Chaves obligingly takes advantage of putting in work following Thurman to the ropes. Big left hook by Chaves!! Thurman stunned! Thurman gets his revenge fifteen seconds later, rocking Chaves!

    Well, based on the way they stood up and fired back at the end of the 7th after eating FLUSH shots, neither guy's chin is that bad...:D

    Thurman up 4-3. Still anyone's fight, imo.

    Thurman is trotting left and pawing his jab. Chopping left hooks by Thurman on the outside. He scores one particularly flush as Chaves walks into it, but instead of backing up Chaves responds with a hard right hand and lays it on Thurman. Circling outside, Thurman keeps the light jab flowing. Chaves stalks and lands hard body shots where he can. Exchange near the end of the round.

    10-9 Chaves, Thurman still boxed well but was too anemic offensively and Chaves put in some really nice sneaky body work.
