Is it just me or Figueroa needs some work on his balance and his defense? He gets hit way to easily and if he faces a fighter like Antillon or Rios when he was at 135lbs, he would destroy Figueroa very early.

Figueroa is average. As soon as somebody get in there with some power and boxing ability, It's over for the Fig man/

If arakawa is doing what i think hes doing, this could be the best gameplan I've ever seen. It looks like hes trying to tire figueroa out to me. he can throw much harder punches than hes throwing. hes just throwing arm punches. and hes capable of boxing and moving. i think hes trying to tire figueroa out and then knock him out

Not Sweat Pea, but I saw a guy who would get ate the **** up by several welter weights and junior middles, if they were across the ring instead of Chavez. Thurman has no defense. He is young and still improving, but in my opinion he needs a new trainer. His **** should be shored up more than it is currently.

    Round 3

Figueroa is southpaw again. Arakawa is landing the right jab more expertly than Figueroa. Arakawa keeps letting shots go, backing Figueroa into a corner with a series of endless straights. Figueroa is trying to slip shots twisting and catching with his mitts at his neck. Arakawa is placing his punches very accurately. Arakawa has Figueroa on the ropes, almost smothering himself but propelling backwards to get space for a big looping left on the jaw! Figueroa stunned! They trade until the bell, Arakawa staying right on top of Figueroa!

    10-9 Arakara

    29-27 Figueroa
