Come on bruh he's been ducking hookers in Argie his whole life, you telling me he's gonna be worried by a hook from Danny?
Hes probably not worried now. everybody has a plan till they get hit. we can all agree this is the hardest puncher matthysse has faced and vice versa. so i can see both guys getting dropped.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZcefvbC-Pf8 I can't see how people keep saying garcia is a better boxer. People overlook Matthysse's boxing ability because he destroys guys, but this highlights his underrated defense.
he is not a better boxer, most posters here just parrot what the loudest mouths on here keep repeating in every thread. very few can think for themselves.
Oh yes I forgot about them. They actually believe GGG should challenge heavyweights. And that he would win.
Don't believe the Hype! Lucas has given no completely dominant performances against A level fighters. Good outings yes but enough to give him wins over Judah & Alexander? No!
Garcia the better boxer ? hmm What is this based on hos performances against faded fighters ? or Amir Khan ??
lucas was impressive in his last win but let's not jump the gun.he can punch and he's agressive with some skills.garcia is well schooled and can crack with that left.lucas hasn't fought no one with the pop garcia has in his last few fights so we don't know how he'll react when firepower is returned.this fight is 50/50 to me depending on who can fight their way,or who gets there first.
Garcia is the better boxer, he has better timing, volume punching to control distance if need be, and speed. Lucas employs his boxing simply to look for big shots, so he does need good footwork which he has to get inside on most opponents to land his big shots. This also helps his movement on the way to do a really good job of avoiding punishment considering how close he is able to get to land the big shots. It's close but clear to me, what Lucas does better is one of the most important boxing factors if not "the" but I would take Garcia's overall boxing if i had to bet. While Lucas is looking for the KO he will most likely be losing most rounds as Danny will still be able to land enough hard shots due to his speed, volume, distance control, timing advantage, to keep him off and win rounds. What happened in their performances against Zab is no fluke, what was witnessed is the trouble Lucas will always have if he can't consistently get in on his opponent due to superior boxing, while Danny had the boxing to clearly win the majority of rounds.
