Without a doubt GGG. Definetly. Jones Jr. has one of the worst chins in this business. He was down against a featherfisted guy called Glazewski.
Imagine, what GGG would do to Floyd in MW and especially SMW.
Jones Jr. had some awesome skills, no doubt .. but whom did he ever fight and impressed against a good opponent??
Golovkin knocks Jones Jr. out in round 6 or 7.

With Canelo, I don't know .. maybe if he steps up, would be an intresting fight.

GGG is 31 y/o and his biggest test to date is the dreaded Mathew Macklin

 

Yep, he beat that feather fisted, sloth Ruiz, who was told not to hold.

He fought some god awful fights at 175. So bad in fact that HBO openly questioned his motives.

 

He did have a few bad ones at 175..

But to his credit he did beat a lot of top 10 ranked fighters and past, current or future world champions at the weight.

 

That's right, but he also fought Reggie Johnson, Montell Griffin, Virgill Hill, Del Valle, Gonzalez, Harding and Tarver. Not bad when you've started out at 154.

 

He did and the Division wasn't exactly great at the time either I don't hold that against him really but he clearly could have taken a few other challenges instead of some of the optional fights he took against lower tier opposition.

My main point with Roy over the years is we just don't know how 'great' he really was because he didn't fight all of the names available to him. Even if he just fought 2 or 3 of them it would have answered a lot of questions.

 

So that is your excuse for him being " shot " is it?

Apart from the fact he weighed in at 193 for Ruiz, and not the 200 you claim, have another guess at Jones walking around weight at the time he was first a L /Heavy.:roll:

How about you tell us the in ring weights of Jones in the 3 fights prior to the huge leap to 193 for Ruiz.

 

I don't care what he weighed.. He was VISIBLY larger at HW, and it was pure muscle not fat.. And there was VISIBLY something wrong with him when he dropped back down..

 

It pisses me off to this day that Roy and DM never fought.:-(
