Ricky's probably disappointed about his last fight, and how it ended, but he's got plenty of money and his health, if I were him, I'd take it easy and enjoy boxing, as a spectator, from now on.
Oh by a country mile, Ricky in his prime his ppv sales would be about 4 or 5 times Froch, there has never been and how long before it happens again a british fighter who was as popular as Ricky Hatton, now you might say lennox is very well known ect but in terms of sheer support and almost love Ricky has no equal not only in terms of british fighters but you'd be hard pushed to think of any fighter who had the devout following the Hitman had, a one off phenomenon.
Why not, If he needs some money to sign fighters or keep the ones he has...A farewell fight would be a memorable night. He should just fight some bum
Did this idea come to him during a coke binge? :-( It's daft enough to have. You got stopped by Senchenko, mate. Jig's up.
Seen a recent interview of Ricky talking about Martin Murray and inbetween segments there were clips of Ricky hammering the heavy bag with a sweat suit on.Now either he's trying to lose some weight for the good of his health or he's preparing for a fight my guess is he's planning another comeback.
Nah it probably came from being in the gym 12 hours a day and being surrounded by other fighters 7days a week, something you obviously no ****all about you forum ****wit.
Some of the other posters on here reckon you are quite knowledgable and always give good input. If this is the kind of knowledgable input they are talking about god love them because as far as I can see InternationalButtlick you are nothing more than a troll.
Chenko was the wrong fight for a comeback should have at least 2 six rounders before he fought a chenko level opponent.
I am perfectly calm,it just pisses me off the way some posters on here who quite obviously have never set foot in a ring have the nerve to talk down on guys like Ricky Hatton who have sacrificed their whole lives for the sport we love.Instead of making stupid remarks about his cocaine problem why not give some good input or try bring something new to the thread instead of the same played out rubbish a la Internationalbutt the so called knowledgable poster. No wonder all the other guys packed up and left this forum it really has gone to the dogs.
Actually, Hatton looked good for most of his last fight. He should not have retired again, just have another fight. I think Hatton should have chosen an easy opponent for his come back fight. However, I think he will stay retired........
I watched Rocky Balboa last night, he came very close on his comeback and everyone wrote him off. Maybe Ricky can do the same
