Floyd had intentionally come in over the weight in the past. As far as I know Manny doesnt have any previous form for failing drug tests. Mannys demand wouldn't have required Floyd to do anything extra just turn at 147 for the weigh in. Just to give an example of how Floyd doesn't like to do what people tell him how many times has he refused to do an unofficail weigh in on fight night? Yet you think if it was Manny that demanded random testing from Floyd he would agree.
Floyd NEVER came in overweight, that's a lie. He informed Marquez before hand, and Marquez accepted a 147 limit and weight penalty. This was all done b4 the weigh in, so Floyd never missed weight. No, he just has a history of coming overweight in 2 title fights. Not to mention, Rios never failed a drug test either. It doesn't matter if Floyd likes to do what others tell him or not. The point is, HE WAS WILLING TO, TO MAKE THE FIGHT W/UNLIKE MANNY! He proved what he would do when there was a unusual demand presented, yet you try to frame it like he wouldn't agree? Pac didn't agree, but for you it's reasonable, even though he is demanding the same of someone else now. You make no sense, except for someone who holds Pac as a deity that can do no wrong. Ok, but it still would have gone above and beyond what the commission requires. 10 million per lb. That is notwhatthe commission requires. What happened to the call of "let the commission do their job" when it applies to Pac.
If Pac really wanted to fight Floyd, he would of done so. People kill me when they put the blame on Floyd when Pac has a master that he answer to and Floyd does not. Pac turned the fight down on two occasions that any other boxer would of jumped at and Floyd is the blame for the fight not happening? It doesn't matter anymore anyway. Pac need him now more then Floyd needs him.
There's no point continuing with this if you can't even admit that Floyd came in overweight against JMM.
Because he didn't. They had a contracted weight, JMM was informed that Floyd was having trouble making the weight, another contract was drawn up before the weigh in, JMM willingly signed it and accepted 300k fo ever lb over 144. Floyd weighed in at 146. What's so difficult to understand about that? The fact is, you don't have that excuse to fall back on anymore, so you don't know what excuse to make now . Regardless of what you say, the bottom line is that there were 2 unusual demands, one was accepted, one was not, and you are blaming the guy that accepted. Not to mention you don't even mention the fact that the guy who declined is now demanding the very same tests from someone who's never tested positive.
The contract stated it was a 147 limit fight. Anything over 144 you pay 300k. It was a stipulation in the contract that kept the fight intact. Floyd weighed in under 147, that means, HE WAS NOT OVERWEIGHT! And STILL no mention of Pac drug testing Rios I see! :think
So why would he ask it for Cotto and DLH too they never missed weight either. Manny just liked making demands yet Floyd can't? :nut
He did nothing more than deflect an ignore what I had to say. You actually think he'll want to address more logic? It does fit his "Manny agenda".
