1) because Joe didn't cheat to get his wins. they were all legit.

2) the fights made more money in the UK. which is the opposite for Ward. in order to get the biggest money, he needs to travel.

the main reason for me wanting the fight over here in the UK though, is not the money, but Ward being forced to fight clean. he gets away with murder in the states.

the refs are a disgrace. so are the judges. as proven in the Bika fight when he got the win by wide decision. that was a close fight man. it was never that wide.

Why don't Americans understand Ward had every fight at home for a international tournament, Where not 1 fighter won away from home proving how big home advantage is

If Kessler was the American fighter and Ward was the European there would be a 100 page + thread on here bitching about what Ward was allowed to get away with in there fight, Same if Kessler or Froch had every fight at home

 

Ward beat Froch, Abraham and Kessler and you guys trying to discredit his accomplishments just because he didn't travel far, far away from home. as far as the big picture is concerned the location of the fight is minor. You guys trying to make it seem like all these great fighters were at such a huge disadvantage. Plain and simple ward would beat these guys in their own back yards. Deal with it. He pretty much ruined Abraham. Abraham hasn't looked the same since they fought. Ward is the truth and he will whoop those dudes again and everyone they beat. Not sure about the Tyson Douglas comparison since Douglas was really not considered a threat in any way shape or form and did absolutely nothing after the fight with Mike Tyson. In any case as you pointed out, Ward has beaten Froch already. If you're trying to say that Froch should get more credit for taking bigger challenges fine, but it ultimately changes nothing. Ward has beaten better fighters plain and simple, he's likely trying to find a big money fight to start lining his pockets; everybody does that at some point.

 

So can we then say Floyd is 10x better than Froch? Floyd makes 30 mil a fight. A real superstar. Froch takes in 3 mil. Seems like a dwarf star. What a joke.

 

The way that Froch fans and Carl himself have to bring Andre Ward's name up over and over again, and clutch desperately at straws to try to make Froch look like the better man in any way possible, speaks volumes about how bad both parties took the sheer schooling Ward dished out.

Since the Super Six defeat Froch's opposition hasn't been great by any stretch of the imagination. I mean a mentally and physically fragile, over protected Bute, Yusef Mack, and a very shopworn Kessler? Not very impressive at all really. Froch's reputation for fighting THE BEST fighters anywhere anytime is exaggerated beyond belief.

The one and only time he fought THE BEST he got his ass beat and he hasn't stopped crying about it since.

 

Ward has the only thing you should care about as a boxing fan which is a legitimate, comprehensive win over a prime Froch. Why do you care about either man's girlfriend or religion? Clutching at straws much?
