    Compare Golovkin Vs. Macklin with Martinez Vs. Macklin......................

    Golovkin is awesome. He will fight anybody, but none of the other champions will fight him. His defense is good, good chin, great movement, power to spar, can cut off the ring, he is exciting. Those who hate Golovkin also hate Vitali and Vladimir Klitschko, Povetkin, Pulev, Boytsov, Kovalev, ad infinitum.........Do I see a pattern here?

    Okay I know your trolling but you've clearly never boxed, and very clearly never took a liver shot, to call someone a coward because they got knocked out by such a 'namby pampy' shot.

    there was a statement from GG that he doesn't like the way Klitschko brothers fight. This may win him some fans from this hate camp lol.

    Golovkin has been taught to be very aggressive, but he will take as much time as he has to when the time comes.........Vlad used to be extremely aggressive.............

    Since when will GG fight anybody??

    He's 31 already and his biggest win is the dreaded Mathew Macklin..

    He's been CAREFULLY moved up at a snail's pace mostly against 154lbers

    He's gonna let you down.....hard:deal

    have you missed Quillin openly stating he doesn't want to fight GG? or Martinez's promoter saying he doesn't know who GG is? or Geale dropping his freshly won WBA super belt rather than face his immediate mandatory, GG?

    Martinez doesn't see the 10th round if he fights GGG. Book it.

    This is true, however its more due to Martinez being over the hill than
    anything else. Martinez has lost not one but quite a few steps. He's close
    to the end. the TS is ******ed but GGG hasn't shown he's head and tails
    above everyone at MW. Most are intoxicated by the power.

    Fight better competition. GGG is ranked #2 in the world at MW but has not fought a guy in the top 12. :patsch.

    To put that in perspective. Marquez is rated #2 at welterweight, over slighty 60 fights and 55 wins he has fought really all the best guys around, Mayweather, Pacman, and is about to fight Bradley. To put it into equivalent terms, it would be like having a 29-0 welter weight, whose best win was against Jesus Soto Karass 28-8 ranked #12 at welterweight (one spot hire than macklin by the way). And then the whole world declare him invincible because he beat Soto in 3 rounds. There is a big difference in beating Soto and beating broner, maidana, thurman, pacman, floyd, bradley, alexander, marquez.

    If GGG can do to similarly ranked guys at MW like
    -martinez, geale, quillin, strum, chavez, murray and so on, then I will start to be impressed
    -If he moves down and beats the best 3 light middle weights, alvarez, lara and trout
    -moves up a weight class and beats ward, froch and rodriguez
    -moves up a weight class again and beats hopkins, stevenson and bute
    -moves up to cruiser and beats huck, jones and hernandez

    If GGG does that and wins them all, before they become washed up, I will agree he is one of the greatest fighters to ever step foot in the ring. Instead what I see, is a guy who beat a lowly ranked fighter and didn't even look that good doing it. If marquez or pacman fought a 13th ranked fighter frankley, I'd feel embarassed for them if they let the guy last 1 round.

    I boxed, and fought with the best of them, it was a namby pampy shot, frankly had a guy took a shot like that in my day and not get up, he would have either not got paid for faking it or never been able to find a fight again.

    I am not trolling. there is no good explanation for why that should have hurt him.

    Macklin was either a coward or a faker, or both. Macklin loves to quit on the mat, he is a coward.

    GGG should really be ranked 12th at best. Why would anyone want to fight a hype job, who is ranked 12th in the world, that is not how it works, you must fight your way up the rankings. If I am champ, I am not fighting anyone who doesn't fight their way up the rankings. If I had to fight up the rankings, anyone I fight better fight their way up the rankings too. If you have never fought anyone in the top 10, I am not wasting my time on you.
