why hasn't he turned pro yet? he looked really good at the olympics , reminded me in looks and abilty of a young vitali, hope hes not gona be yet another wasted eastern european amateur who stays amateur

There are actually two boxers from Kazakhstan that have potential to turn pro. Ivan Dychko and Daniyar Yeleussinov. If you recall, Daniyar has beaten Herring, the captain of the US team. Both won gold on the recent Asian championship, and they aim to win gold in the Olympics 2016, so it's too early to discuss their future in pro. I don't mention the others [on this latest Asian championship, 7 out of 10 gold medals went to Kazakhstan] because these two are really special.
