I Highly doubt Adamek is turning to the bottle, the guy is a devout Catholic. His problems are that father time is catching up to him. That being said, Guinn hasn't been KO'ed so I don't expect that to happen here either. I expect a WIDE UD for Adamek.
If Guinn can visibly hurt Adamek he will definitely finish him off, otherwise he will just go through the motions.:bbb
I think Guinn will hurt him at one time or another honestly. It doesn't matter if he throws 15 punches a round. Some are going to connect and I just feel that a big man with power, a sharp puncher at that, is going to be able to rattle Adamek.
I have serious doubts he turned to the bottle. He is a huge family man with 2 daughters... I think it was just a party he was coming back from in upstate NY, I believe.. We've all done that before
I'm not agreeing or disagreeing. I just see so many boxers fall into shitty habits that I almost always assume negatives, I suppose.
Have to see what Adamek weighs in at as well... He's weighed about 225 lately and honestly, he looked far sharper about 10 pounds lighter than that. I don't think he should be a pound over 220.
We have been hearing this same song since he emerged onto the scene back in 05....yet no one has ever put him away clean.
Like a lot of comments, I agree that Adamek seems to be slowly wilting as a fighter. But Guinn jumped out of retirement for this fight and besides his last ko win, he lost about 30 of 30 rounds in his previous 3 fights. Still, any reason besides an assumptive dropoff in Adamek's training to thibk Guinn pulls this off?
To put it another way, what else besides an iron chin is Guinn bringing into this fight that puts him above Adamek's recent opponents?
Damn so in your view Adamek is...an undersized feather fisted glass chinned cherry pickin lazy raging alcoholic. However did he manage to make it this far,....hmmm:think
