Well, that depends whether you're any good at maths or not, surely. It is one of the degrees least susceptible to 'dumbing down' tho.

I have to admit my own inability to understand what academic ability has to do with fight selection however.

Youve stated pretty much 4 great reasons why Cleverly should fight this guy,If Nathan wins hel be holding all the chips in the light heavyweight division,its massive exposure for him on HBO aswell taking out supposedly one of the most dangerous fighters in the sport right now.Big pay days against the likes of Hopkins,Stevenson and maybe even Ward if he decides to move up to light heavy.

Plus, he's gonna' have to fight Kovalev eventually, there's no getting around it. Might as well do it now, before Sergey gains even more experience.

Also, Sergey has been getting pretty serious promotion / exposure from HBO for the last year or so, so win or lose this fight brings Cleverly the same exposure.

 

I beleieve the lack of competitive opponents will show itself and bite Clev in the ass.Both he and ****** are responsible for ripping off the fans for so long.

Clev's already beaten a top 5 LW in Bellew in Tony's hometown.
Clev's been seeking fights with top guys such as Froch, Hopkins and Dawson.

Its not Clev's fault nor his promoters fault if the fighters won't fight Cleverly.

 

If you took the time to understand what he's saying you might have had a less ranting response.

He's saying that Cleverly would have been clever (pun intended) taking on some other big name, who is far more beatable as Kovalev and gain some respect on that.
I don't complain that he took the hardest challenge out there on paper, I actually applaud it. But it seems to be far from a smart move.
