Dino Duva should be commended for being a pioneer in the China market. Not only is the potential media audience for boxing vast, but the Macau casino industry may facilitate some good venues. China in the fight game may translate into some decent paydays for fighters in coming years - not just domestic Chinese fighters but also (western) solid journeymen fighters who have some modest name recognition.
tr has/is working with other promoters with heavyweights on their stables. again, best option for this boxer because of who he is, is with tr.
He isn't turning pro yet, they're just training him for his next amateur competition, maybe in a year or so.
