I just rewatched the Broner-Paulie fight on Showtime - How did you score it?

For the record, I personally don't see how any objective viewer could give Paulie more than 5 Rounds.

Broner couldn't even put away a guy that a "washed up" ricky hatton stopped years ago. Broner is not impressive.

Haven't and wouldn't rewatch that shite.

I had Broner winning by a couple of rounds, but one thing is for sure, Broner can't hang with the best at 147lbs, I'm not even sure he could hang with the best at 140lbs.

Can't hang with the best? Based off of his first fight at 147 (at the age of 23) where he won a belt?

    We'll see.

    Completely different versions of Paulie.

    This Paulie stops that Paulie.

I don't see how anyone could have it close. Broner was landing flush, accurate power shot. Paulie was shoe shining bronger gloves and elbow

    140 is a weak division

I had it a draw. Tho Broner landed the more authorative shots, you can't ignore the 3-4 punch combinations Paulie was landing on Broner and they weren't on his elbows, but on Adrian's body and face. That they had little effect that's a different story. Good fight overall, maybe Broner winning by a point is ok, he did go up 2 divisions, but he failed to impress vs. a mediocre fighter. He's 23, impressive fighter, but not impressive compared to other 23 yr olds like Canelo or Sal Sanchez.

No way Broner gets hit way too much. Just look at the right hands he was eating vs Rees and Paulie. Good thing they are featherfisted. Canelo was being slick with the head movement making a bonafide 154lber like Trout miss over and over again, punching the air.

And you wonder why Broner just walked through their punches? He didn;t even bother trying to defend against them anymore. But when faced with a harder puncher, he will definitely employ better defensive tactics.
