Only welters? Hagler never fought at welter, and chavez wasnt one until the 90's.

Other than that the list looks good, though i would put Benitez over Duran, i think he did more at welter.

Yeah, Pernell is my personal favorite, but Duran probably has the best claim for the top spot.

duran was a great fighter, one of the best lws of all time H2H , NOT HIS RESUME AT THIS WEIGHT (GOOD BUT not a great resume(RIVALS), at lw.) , but DEFINITELY 100% HE IS OVERRATED.
DURAN AT LW WAS SOMETHING LIKE A PRIME TYSON, WE CAN THINK THAT HE WOULD DO GREAT AGAINST ANOTHER ALL TIME GREATS IN HIS CATEGORY OF WEIGHT, BUT HE NEVER WAS TESTED ACTUALLY

If Duran wasnt really tested then why is he considered one of is not the best LW of all time!?
And he was surely tested at WW, Just look at Duran Vs Leonard I..One of the best fights ever, thats why I beieve at no point was he ever underrated.

Duran is an all-time great but he is also overrated sometimes. Above 135 LW he was less than great... except for that one night in Montreal. As for his win over Leonard, I thought the fight was very close. I also thought that it was a case of Leonard losing the fight more than Duran winning it. Duran didnt look so great in the "no mas" fight just five months later. He looked really bad in the "uno mas" fight but he was about a 100 years old at the time. The Barkley fight was good and could have went either way. Hearns just about took his head off. He gave Hagler a tougher than expected fight. Benitez outboxed him but doesnt get much credit for the win.
