    Top 50

If he faced and beat Pac, top 20/10

Top 100. Cherry picked opponents, dictated his weights. Wouldn't get in my top 50...

Definite top 50.. There is no denying that.

I still rate him below Roy Jones, but he could easily pass in the next couple years.

He's moving to Alvarez' weight division, a division he moved to twice before already, and requested a 152 catchweight which Alvarez and his team agreed to. How is he dictating anything when he's the one making the move up? The only other fight where weight was a discussion was Ricky Hatton. Do you expect Mayweather to move down two weight divisions from 154 to make a fight with Hatton who called him out in the first place? Mayweather is most likely top 50 but saying he dictated weights is foolish. Remember how he accepted everything DLH threw at him?, weight, gloves, ring size, venue, less money and whatever else I'm forgetting.

I don't think he is too far from Roy now... A win against Alvarez will be good for his resume, especially if Canelo goes on to do better things in the future.. I also think a win over Pac would still be good for Floyd, if Pac looks good in his up and coming fight of course.

There should be a top 30 and 40 option.

Hopkins and Mayweather are very close in my opinion.. Almost too close to call and I would feel different on any given day... They are both below Roy though. The thing is though, Mayweather is still good enough to do a few more things before he retires, that may put him above both Roy and Hopkins... However, it could go seriously wrong at anytime in this stage of his career, as we witnessed with Roy.

Top 30. Beat many good fighters, multidivisional champion, defensive master and counterpuncher. BUT IMO lost to Castillo which is ok a loss doesn't stop you from being great. Still, the fighters you could of beaten when it mattered most he didn't. Coulda, shoulda, woulda, and didn't. Still, Canelo is no easy feat and a real challenge that Floyd hasn't had in awhile. Props to both and a win-win for both.
