I would say Margarito ruined Cotto is inaccurate, a career derailing that can never fully be recovered from is more accurate to me.

Why did Hagler retire, then? He was shot to **** against Leonard. He'd lost all the snap to his punches. Mugabi was ruined by Hagler , too. I think he would have had a longer career and a more sucessful one but for the Hagler fight.

Margarito didn't ruin Cotto, and Barrera didn't ruin Hamed.

I was thinking about that one. The Jury is still out but it's a possibility.

Come on Hagler clearly ruined Mugabi! Mugabi was a monster with a perfect knockout record coming in to the fight. It took Hagler 11 rounds to put him out. The amount of punishment they dished out is astounding. Hagler hit hard, make no mistake about that. Mugabi hit harder. As much punishment he took, Hagler was not ruined, but he was affected. Leonard saw the opportunity and took it. Hagler wasn't 100% in their fight and won by a slither because he fought smart.

The Anglo-American bias and trolling you get here sometimes is so stupid.
