    The numbers look good for Wlad, but the substance of who he has beaten in title defense is just not the same when you think about other champions title defenses. I don't know why. #Inferiorcompmaybe

    Wlad beat Byrd who at the time had the most defenses for his title then the other belt holders, Wlad then went on to unify vs. Ibragimov, should have unified vs. Chagaev, but later fulfilled it by Unifying vs. Haye. Has fought numerous people that were rated only behind him and his brother. I assure you if Vitali wasn't his brother or vice versa the fight would have happen yrs ago. But if you wanna keep kicking this dead horse, go to town

    good points but we must also consider that Wlad wasnt the real champ till he beat Chagaev, so he has approx 8 defenses of the same title Joe Louis had

    People these days think being the no 1 contender to the vacant championship equals being the champ

    Wlad was however universally recognised by ring and every other outlet as the champ when he beat Chagaev
