that he was being truthful about past fights with Mosley, Ortiz, and Cotto when he said that he wanted to stand his ground and give the fans toe to toe action.

Everyone rolled their eyes when he said this, and just assumed that his legs where shot, and that he couldn't move anymore and had not choice but to stand and fight. Then he brought his dad back as his trainer, focused more on defense, and showed up danced circles around Guerrero while hitting him at will. So will people finally give him credit, for showing heart, and choosing to stand and fight, and bang with bigger more powerful opponents, when he could've used his legs and made it clinical affair that casual would've found boring.

The clowns that want him to abandon his fighting style and exchange are clowns that want him knocked out to finally cry out "fraud, we knew it!". Mayweather might exchange but he knows exactly what he's doing and knows what the crowd really hopes to see.

    Good thread.

    Excellent in fact. :good

I remember people saying he wasn't moving because he couldn't. Where are they now?

    " slow " lol

Floyd stood his ground cuz he felt no danger from those guys.

His legs are gone, it's his wings that are gliding him around the ring. Smell like a chicken, act like a chicken, is a chicken.

  7. I think Cotto forced Floyd to fight that kind of fight. He applied smart pressure

The Cotto that showed up that night was 100% game

Mayweather critics will always have an excuse to not give him credit,ALWAYS..

When he banged and gave us entertainment,oh Floyd is done!!!

When he puts on a clinic using footwork etc--It's a boring fight

The guy can't win with people with that mentality..

Look at the 12th round of the fight, that is when Floyd used his legs and imo even pulled back a little bit..And this is after 12 rounds fighting a strategic, game, confident Cotto..

I think he could have done this for 12 rounds..

He adapts to the fighter in front of him. That is his best skill. He figures out how to win in the ring during the fight. He can use different tactics very well. He may want to give fans a show when he can but not if he may have to lose to do it.
