true enough but i thought povetkin struggled but outthought chambers by throughing neally thousand punches especially latter rounds didnt give him a chance to counter, but boy povetkin as regressed. on another note after he beats mchunu do you think the is any cruisweights who can beat chambers, ony one that i can think of is usyk and he hasnt thought as a pro yet
I'll need to see in action how 200 fits him to be sure, but if he looks more or less the same as he did at HW then no. Cruiser is an exciting division, but not exactly talent packed. All four champs are weak. (in pound for pound terms)
"BE, please write your list of top three posters most likely to use the word "cryptid" on the general forum." they said. "I've only got the one." was my reply.
I don't know much about Mchunu aside from him being ranked #7 by the wretched WBC. Also, Mchunu has never fought anyone remotely close to the skill level of Chambers. On paper, Chambers holds just about every advantage that a fighter can hold over his opponent. All in all, Eddie's vast experience against elite fighters will prove to be the difference.
Mchunu knocked out glass jawed Flo Simba twice :rofl you know, the guy who was supposed to be the next big HW out of Africa before getting stopped by a shot to **** Botha. Chambers should win this easily, mid-round KO or decision.
Chambers has a few questions that need to be answered for me how does he deal with fighting guys at cruiser who can probably match his speed? his work rate isnt good, will this be a problem at cruiser? will his power really be that much more impressive? Ive accused Chambers of being a guy who is afraid of mixing it up and being cautious about being hit vs Povetkin, Peter, Wlad and some other fights or moments here or there he kind of just covered up and stopped taking risks especially vs Povetkin in a fight where it looked like he could win I dont think the move down in weight is gonna be an overnight revival like a lot do but I think he may do well for himself we will see should win this one
Yeah, those are the questions in play and Mchunu can help answer some of them. This still isn't a sparkling debut, however, even if Chambers dominates. We still won't know how getting in with a strong, experienced full-sized Cruiser affects him and thus won't have much of an idea how to expect him to do against the likes of Huck, Lebedev, Jones, Arslan etc.
haha... ill go with mid stoppage..just because he might want a few rounds in his first fight at the weight...
i scored that fight 116-112..chambers slowed way down in the second half of the fight..but as we seen how the judges scored it it prob wouldnt have matterd anyway...
I threw some v-cash on him, but not with any solid foundation whatever. I was thinking more about Chambers being affected going down like Byrd, most recently that I can think of.
Stop watching boxing now, Chambers didnt win a round, maybe 1 if you were kind to him no way did he even win 2 to save his life let alone 3 but you have 4 IB take his creating thread rights away this guy should be punished for life for having that scorecard talk about biasnedness to the nth degree
