If a 38 year old Shane Mosley can rock Mayweather and almost certainly would have dropped Mayweather had he not held on for his life! What would a prime Pacquiao do to him?

I put floyd, but I could definetly see pacman winning in a variety of ways. It'd look alot like the rios rigondeaux fight but pacman was better mover than rios and harder puncher. Mayweather isn't as skilled as keeping guys off balance and pacman bounching style he always hits hard. I could see Pacman beating mayweather. Floyd's only saving grace is his slickness might allow him to slip out 7 rounds. IMO Floyd would win by 1 round, it would be an exceptionally close fight. But pacman has the dynamite and floyd has a questionable chin, his style don't work well on south paws, and zab judah knocked him down, pacman definetely could KO floyd.

It's a mismatch.. Prime Manny, peaking Manny, or Manny on A-side meth. No version of Manny can compete with Floyd.

The Pacquiao that destroyed Cotto, Margarito, knocks Mayweather all over the gaff. He was a different beast back then.

Pac would beat him. Floyd can't handle speedy fighters who are unpredictable, and he's rarely fought any. Floyd's key strength is his mind, and in figuring out the patterns of a fighter and then adapting to it. An unpredictable fighter is one that is hard or impossible to fully adjust to, and Floyd had troubles with a low-caliber Emanuel Augustus because of this. An unpredictable fighter employing a full range of angles, combinations and feints as much as Pacquiao does, along with Pacquiao's sheer speed of hand and foot, good power, and stamina plays too much to Floyd's weaknesses. And to stop Pacquiao's attack, you NEED combinations. Floyd has the intelligence and timing to touch Pacquiao, but not the combinations to keep him off him.

Pacquiao, probably via UD. I doubt Floyd will be stopped.

Tough pick but I'd actually go for Pac reasons being:

1- The shoulder roll doesn't work against southpaws, the angle is all wrong and Floyd would eat left hands all night, Floyd tends to use a hight-guard and walks southpaws down normally, Guerrero was the exception but he is slow as molasses which gave Floyd time to pot-shot and move, remember Floyd struggled with speedy southpaws in Judah & Corley & Pac hit waaaay harder & throws waaaay more punches then both.

2- Southpaws are generally open to the lead right hand & Floyd is a master of landing that shot, however Pacquiao is willing to walk through Floyds single shots to land his own combinations.

3- Floyd has better single shot speed but rarely if at all throws more than a 2-3 punch combination, Pac throws extended fast combinations loaded with power, the workrate coupled with Pacs speed/power will make Floyd fight harder, Floyd would turn into a beast as he did against Moseley but those Pac punches take their toll, look what he did to Cotto, Hatton & Margaritos face.

4- Fitness, in his prime Pac is as fit as Mayweather & throws more punches with K.O power, Pacs footwoork is vastly underated just look at what he did to De La Hoya.

5- Yes Marquez had success against Pac, that because when Pac came in unloading his combinations Marquez would take a half-step back and come back firing, even with Marquez success against Pac, he was still put down 5 times against Pac in their 4 fights.
