So much for Amir being serious about fighting Alexander, especially after team Alexander's response. This is a stay-active fight till Khan gets his last payday against Mayweather. After that I'll expect Khan to fight whoever and most likely get sparked straight into retirement.
Holt would agree with a catchweight but the goal would to be to face Garcia or Matthysse after that at 140.. Probaly Garcia rematch when Matthysse finishes him.
It depends how bad Garcia and Matthysse ruin each other, that's what Khan and his team are praying for. Even if Garcia loses badly, he WON'T fight him like he never fought Prescott. He will only pick fights with him on twitter and facebook. Khan is looking for a Mayweather payday, after that he will be open to get knocked out cold by all.
@IntentionalButt, exactly what i was thinking. Khan is reckless and has too shaky of a chin with a dangerous puncher like holt, especially after his last fight with julio diaz.
This will be similar to the Judah fight, only worse. Holt has power but he can't take a punch to eventually land one of his own. Khan's speed will take over this fight and this will end early for Khan. It's a perfectly picked fight to keep Khan active and away from serious danger till he gets a big payday with Mayweather.
