It does not matter to me one iota and never has what the color of a fighters skin was or his ethnicity. I honestly don't understand why this would ever factor in in terms of liking or not liking an athlete.

Well...I know boxing and I look at Wlad and how he was koed brutally buy nobodies and bums and then I watch that straight up stiff European methodical Olympic style and say to myself...my how far we have fallen where we think this fighter exhibits great ability. Not durable, seems to want to quit when pushed to the limit and can't slip a punch if he tried. That's why.

lmao, you write like a complete ******ed.
listen, little kid, read and learn, because you don´t know a single word about boxing, you are a silly 15 years old boy and you never trained boxing in your pathetic life.
archie moore was a former middleweight and lhw, and he was 40 years old when he faced marciano(silly boy).
ezzard charles was a light heavy weight and he was past his prime when he faced rocky.(silly boy).
jersey joe walcott was 38 years old and he was a cruiser, he was past his prime and his chin was very poor he could be stopped by guys who were not even top punchers.and still he did outbox rocky and he made rocky look stupid during 13 rounds and then marciano landed a lucky suzie q,that night in a 12 rounder walcott would have won easily.
marciano did his job and he was undefeated in his own era, but this era was pretty week, he fought a war against a bum(average guy) like roland.
h2h marciano is not a top 5 in the hw division, in legacy i put him in my top 5.
you don´t know a **** about boxing and you are stupid, get out of here with your mom the *****:hi:

Why all the insults? Berating someone just because he likes a fighter makes you come across as a bit immature.

Reading posts like this containing highly rude and offensive drivel like this reminds me why I don't visit this forum very much anymore...

I used to visit here to attempt to exchange intelligent debate about boxing and learn from like minded posters seeking the same thing, and get greeted by this dung...

Just like the heavyweight division, ESB classic has gone downhill...

If you have a beef with this kid why not argue with more factualy true points than the bogus ones you make? your points dont stand up.

Jersey joe was a heavyweight who knocked out heavyweights. His career was on hold whilst he was a part time fighter and only got going for real when he got good backing from felix bocchiccio. Walcott was coming off his best two career wins going in against Marciano. As well as being the undisputed champion and years younger than the curent world champion is presently walcott was the curent "fighter of the year". If it had been a 12 round fight marciano still would have won. The mysterious eye burning agent bought walcott more rounds. Who were the weak punching contenders who knocked out Walcott? He beat elite bangers like elmer ray, hatchet man shepard, jimmy bivins and big joe baksi.

Archie Moore was in the best form of his life against Marciano- He beat the world #1 and #2 heavyweight contenders to earn that shot and was champion for another 6 years AND knocked out (yes KNOCKED out) rated heavyweights in the 1960s. If the 1950s were suposedly weak what does this say about the 1960s heavgweights?

Ezzard Charles was not a lightheavyweight when he fought marciano. muhammad Ali was once a lightheavyweight too! Charles was a rated lghtheavyweight for less time than Floyd Patterson was. Against Marciano Charles had only been beaten convincingly one time since he had restarted his career after the war when his career really got going.

Thanks fella, I'll try! I try to live by the rule that I post the same way I would speak to somebody face to face...

BTW, agree with all you say about Marciano...a great fighter, a fighting man from the top of his head to the soles of his boots, they come no braver...
