IMHO, I think it's Roberto Duran. He started at bantamweight or featherweight I'm not sure, handed great featherweight champ Ernesto Marcel the only stoppage in his career in the final round, dominated the lightweights, moved up in class again and beat SRL. Yes he quit, but he made up for it countless times ever since. Beat Cuevas, Moore, Hagler had his hands full against a past prime, out of comfort zone Duran. Yes, he got KTFO by Hearns, but beat Barkley who defeated Hearns twice to become the oldest middleweight to win a title. Got robbed in his first fights against Paz and Camacho. Got KO'ed by William Joppy, but came back to win the NBA title at age 49! But that's just my honest opinion...
Roberto duran has to be up there. I never seen ray fight but frm what i was told there anit no one close
I'd probably say from an overall standpoint, SRR is the most complete fighter in history in terms of physical attributes, mental strength, and skills. That said, I still give a slight edge to Ali. The guy was near untouchable in his prime, avoided no one, and beat some of the best HW's in history in the golden era for the division when he himself was past his best days. In terms of completeness as a fighter, there's a lot of things Ali didn't do compared to SRR, but I think his standard of competition is too high to ignore.
Ray robinson was ali with fire power in both hands had everything speed timing movement . Just the complete package he was tgw greatest. He was born to be a fighter. 173w 19l 6d. He was simething like 162w 2d before he retired the first time.
