Just thought today, if Floyd was to do a number on Canelo, would his wins at 154 lb's with that rank him anywhere near the best ever to operate at light-middleweight.

Probably no, but just curious as would be a few good wins there.....

Well, seeing how he already beat Cotto and Delahoya, and argument could be made for Mayweather to be ranked in the top 3 154 pounder. Even despite the despicable catchweight nonsense, Canelo is still a legit opponent.

I'd say that if May then challenges and beats Lara, he would be the undisputed #1 at 154.

    WBA/WBC/Ring magazine light middleweight titles......

Cotto, DLH and a big win over Canelo would be a great, but short spell at the weight. Its like rating RJJ at 168 lbs, clearly was top 3, but his reign was far too short to be considered.

well canelo is the #1 rated 154 fighter and this will be a unification fight so you would say #1 but i highly doubt floyd will stay at 154, he is chasing the big fights, big names and after cotto and alvarez there aient much more there for him

unless martinez heals up and wants to fight at 154 (i can allready hear the haters booing it now)

Anything from 148-154 is a Light Middleweight fight otherwise no belt would be on the line. Now continue crying.

how many belts does Alvarez have at 154? Yes WHEN floyd beats him he will be ranked in the top 3 at 154.
