    He wouldn't make it far.

He has no striking and puts himself in bad positons on the ground.

He's only faced one wrestler and he had trouble with him. And that was Jay Heiron. LOL

Anyone with decent striking and takedown defence will beat him.

yeah he does look pretty pillow fisted?

Also the way he moves around on the floor is unorthodox!

Id love to see him fight Thiago Alves would be a interesting fight!

His fights are the cure for insomnia. I have never been more bored than when I have watched Askren fight.

He is a completely one dimensional, dry humper of men. He could not punch his way out of a wet paper bag and he would not be able to submit a five year old girl with osteogenesis imperfecta.

He will get brutally knocked out the first time he fights someone who has not been dragged off a bar stool or isn't an off duty police officer.

    Not. A. Fan.

    I wouldn't hang around.

These guys hardly fight. And it sure isn't against top competition.

I would like to see him in the UFC, and even if the UFC I suspect that a lot of people are going to have trouble with his wrestling. Askren is an exceptional wrestler. He holds the record of most single season pins in NCAA history and is third all time in the list of most pins in NCAA Division 1 history.

Dave Meltzer went as far as to describe Askren behind Cael Sanderson and Kyle Dake may be the best American collegiate wrestler of the past 15-20 years.
