That said I know what you mean, but it's true that if Garcia fu**ed off the press appearances everyone would be up in arms about him being 'shook to hell'.

it is an undercard on already the most anticipated fight of the year
plus the fight is only 5 weeks away
I think Lucas most the right choice and it has nothing to do with being shook

 

Matthysse did this to make garcia+fans get big headed, and once the bell rings matthysse will destroy garcia, because the boxing ring is his home.

 

Bad timing for him, the tour+jetlags would nearly cost him a week of training 5 weeks before the fight, attending would have been stupid as hell

He's afraid of Angel getting into his head.

 

Maybe he figures Angel Garcia well sell the fight for him and all he needs to do is turn up and get the job done.

I'm not surprised, he's probably in the midst of the most important part of his training camp, of course he does not want to screw it up.

I'll give them a pass on this one. As cool as it would have been for them to do the three city tour, the fight will do fine without them. One knocking the other out will give them more than enough publicity!

Matthysse is all business.

He's seriously preparing for the biggest fight of his career. Flights to USA and trip roads can affect his shape and condition.

Besides this fight is on Floyd - Canelo fight undercard, so it doesn't need too much promotion.

Anyway I'm pretty sure that are lots of people who want to see what kind of mug will have Angel when Danny gets T/K.O'd by Matthysse, so this fight it's selling for itself. :yep
