I was going over the records of some of the people Wladimir Klitschko fought and thinking about this yesterday.

In my opinion, it's 2000 Chris Byrd.

Who do you consider to be Wlad's best win?

Byrd and Haye are his best wins. I'd say the win over prime Byrd in 2000 was his best. The manner of his victory over Haye wasn't impressive. He was in total control but refused to press the action and take advantage of his total superiority. Neither fighter ended that fight covered in glory.

Why is Sultan a good win?....He was only there for a retirement check that night and didn't care about winning. He had already decided to leave the sport.

Peter was his toughest challenge, both stylistically & at that time in his career.

Byrd is the best opponent he fought but it was a very friendly match up for Wlad.

Chagaev was his best performance, though Chagaev was never the same post-injury & he had hepatitis.

For me in terms of combined status at the time + h2h ability - it's between Peter I and Chagaev.

wlad beat very good fighters, but imo his best win is haye, it was not really impressive, but haye is from talent view the best guy who has the most threats to wlad, he was faster, with great reflexes and real ko power and ring smarts. and wlad beat him clearly.

sultan was a very tricky fighter and tony thompson is a very underrated win.

byrd was tailor made for wlad

Chagaev was somewhat diminished but still pretty close to his prime self when they fought. That's a great, underrated win...especially considering how Wlad never even let him get into the contest.
