Exactly! Amazing how people hate on this fight, even though it is the one everyone was begging for. You can't please em all.
Point 1 would be true if the fight were at 154lbs. The two pounds mightn't make a difference but then again they might and its a pity to have the fight at a catchweight and have a question-mark over it and/or give *******s or Mayweather haters a chance to downgrade the fight. Anyway. Your points 5 and 7 are interesting. Canelo is low output and places emphasis on accuracy. He is surprisingly slick and I think he may allow Mayweather come to him instead of walking him down and eating counters, at least for the first few rounds (he did something similar vs Trout). He may look to land the harder punches and hope the judges look favourably on their intent: like they did for Trout. Whether that will be enough to win rounds, or if he will be able to land on Mayweather, I don't know.
Exactly. Alvarez' team aren't stupid to take this fight, accept the catchweight and risk his 0(and possibly future) for one payday if they didn't know they have a chance.
" Canelo is low output and places emphasis on accuracy":roflpatsch Whaaaaat??? Canelito is one of the most inaccurate fighters around. It's like he's blind. Forget he looks white...stop dreaming...and pay attention.
50/50 fight really? If mayweather gets anywhere near even odds I will bet the ****ing house and celebrate early. No way in hell any bookie is giving 50/50, wtf is wrong with you?
Always had knowledge of catchweights and educated a lot about them when Pacquiao vs Cotto was scheduled to be at 145. It doesn't take brains to realize that anything from 148-154 is a light middleweight fight or 141-147 is a welterweight fight. Carry on trolling, bumpkin.

You best believe if Canelo were fighting at 160 where he belongs...he'd be throwing out catchweights left and right.
Personally I don't like the catchweight, but you're a ****ing hypocrite my friend. Cotto comes in at 145 instead of 147 for Manny... "No big deal." Canelo comes in at 152 instead of 154 for Floyd... "Dramatically decreases his chances in the fight." :deal
Probably. I'm not a fan of either one though, and I can't see any reason why Floyd would need the extra advantage of either in this fight... Especially after making such a big deal about wanting his opponents to be at their most comfortable in the lead-up to the Cotto fight. Plus I just don't like the idea of a fight at 150 or 152 being for a 154lb belt... That ****'s gay to me. You want some guy's 154lb belt? Fight him at 154, you ******.
