I read all this rubbish that Khan is one fight away from this and I think why? He lost to Peterson (controversially), KTFO by Danny Garcia, didn't look great v Maidana, took 10 rounds to stop a lightweight that is Carlos Molina and then went 12 rounds with Julio Diaz whilst being put down. So how do people in the boxing world think this would be a hard fight for Floyd? Or are they just trying to sell it too the casuals?

Mayweather hasn't got much fights left and he shouldn't be wasting his time with Amir Khan, unless he gets a couple of wins against some decent boxers. Mayweather would win convincingly against all of Khans opponents, so how is this a close fight? :?. I'm not an Amir Khan hater and even though I don't really like him, he represents Britain and I support the British fighter 95 % of the time. Imo it's a 90-10 fight in Floyd's favour.

Anybody think he deserves a shot? I would either see Brook v Khan. The funny thing is if this fight is made, the fight will be PPV .

Because Floyd is fighting in house Golden Boy fighters, he has a 6 fight deal and theres only so many viable opponents.

Its got nothing to do with Khan 'deserving' it

Nope it hasnt, also my mate has texted me about an hour ago saying Khan v Mosley is in the works but weve had no time to converse so not sure on sources etc. A shot Mosley has less to try Khan with than this version of Alexander due to Khans speed/reflexes and Mosleys worn ability to pull the trigger/land a shot.

Gets Khan a decent 'name' and leaves hmi the Win with which to make Floyd 'legit' in the eyes of GBP

Mosleys getting on and is a shadow of his former self but i wouldnt be the slightest bit suprised if he sparked khan as mosley can hit hes still pretty fast too considering, his legs have totally gone tho and kahan would just try and out move him but id put money on mosley catching him at some point

This is a genuine question and forgive my lack of knowledge on Floyd's history (and I don't think for a second Khan would beat him, or come close for that matter) .......

However, has Floyd been in with anyone before that has hand speed as quick as Khan? And would it trouble him?

I'm not asking about Diaz. Or any other guys Khan has boxed.

The reason I ask is Floyd's defence is pretty much water tight therefore does Khan have something he hasn't seen before that could upset his usual gameplan that we always see.

Fact is, Khan doesnt deserve a shot at mayweather. But in this business of boxing these days: its come to a point were the saying "Its not about what you know, its who you know"
Really makes sense in this era of boxing.
Fact is khan has people that would get the mayweather fight with ease? Along with also both being on show time and golden boy. I mean Khan has been gifted everything imo, all because he won a silver medal. Yes hes had some good fights in the past but how many of them have been world class operators or fighters.

Maidaina was his best win but im sorry hes a slugger at best.
    Judah was shot. Has been.
    Barrera bigger has been.
Kotelnik euro fighter at best imo.
Malinaggi feather fisted cant even hurt a fly
Paul McCloskey overrated fighter got beaten by a shot corley.
Salita He was a good win, good fighter.
Julio Diaz imo won the fight vs khan.
Molina is just a average fighter with no power.
I mean when khan has gotten to the actual world level opponents hes crumbled.
Peterson and Garcia. Not to talk of being sparked by Prescott (who McCloskey beat).

People over look these things. Good on him for doing well for our country and nation or what not but i hate Olympic fighters getting gifted everything because they won a bloody medal.

Danny Garcia's dad isnt the best of men but he does talk the truth. Amir khan won silver and got treated like royalty. Oscar Dela Hoya and Andre ward won GOLDS and they didnt get noticed for ****. Its true tbh.

But yeah khan doesnt deserve Money May. He should focus on beating alexander then defending his IBF title vs brook next feb.

That's how I feel about amir khan. Rant over.

  10. Stupid post

Best bit Oscar de la Hoya won gold and didn't get noticed

If Mosely lands the shot that stumbled Floyd against Khan then the next thing Khan see's is the doctor shining a light into his eyes.
