I am telling you now Deontay Wilder has glaringly obvious weaknesses that seem to be getting over looked by everyone. Dereck Chisora or Tyson Fury could have stopped any of these guys he's been facing.

Liakhovic was coming into the fight off the back of 2 stoppage defeats. Don't get me wrong Wilder has some power and you have to have some ability to win 29 in a row but now's the time for him to face a top 20 guy and I don't think he should get any hype what so ever until he fights a guy who is in the top 20.

No doubt if he does end up fighting a top 20 guy and has a few scares but comes through to win a close one all the fickle bunch on here will be going on about how over rated he is.

    You just said it...

If he struggles in the least with any of these guys, people are going to jump all over him. And if he ever loses to anyone, everyone will claim he's been exposed, and it will give everyone the excuse to avoid him like the plague.

he is packing china. he is a hype job. he has been shielded. he is american. he won't fight a top 10 for a few more years. he will eventually lose to a gate keeper.

that is and will be the story of Deontay "J-Lacy" Wilder

People keep mentioning Price but if you knew anything about boxing you could tell Price wasnt going anywhere way too stiff

If you actually look at my post history I was one of the very few who always said Fury was better than Price, having said tat, Price isn't as bad as people make him out to be now.

Even in his last fight Wilder was hit with a few shots that he shouldn't have been. To say he'd stop Chisora early matter of factly like many are on here is laughabe.

Price vs Thompson was the worst match up they could have made for Price. If they are smart they don't put Wilder in with Thompson yet. Thompson might very well be the third best heavyweight in the world right now.

No. Thompson is not the third best.

Well I agree Thompson should fight the winner of Haye vs Fury.

I guess we just have to agree to disagree.

    Thompson has never impressed me.

Whether Haye beats him or not is a different discussion. At the moment Thompson should be rated above. He's coming off a loss to Wladimir and two big wins against Price. Haye is coming off a loss to Wladimir and a win over Chisora.

Thompson is a ****ing great boxer

    I real gate keeper level

You have to be world class to get by him

Great power, great shots, beautiful form
    Difficult matchup

Price wasn't ready and now his confidence is in tatters

The pitfalls of putting the guy in too early against high level opposition

Thompson will frustrate one-round wonder Wilder with his ring smarts. Wilder has no experience whatsoever of fighting a tough tedious fight vs. a solid defensive fighter with a good chin and a counter-game.
