There's a good chance Wach knocks him out. Wach's actually a good fight for Wilder at some point over the next year.
When the hell was the last time WLad koed anyone in the first round?? He would have jab and grabbed and fought scared as always. If Wilder lands on Wlad's unstable chin he is going down shaking as well.
Are you serious?? It is known down here in Germany, that the Klitschko brothers just play with their opponents, because of their contract with RTL. They hype all of these bums like Mormeck (better than Tyson), Pianeta (strongest puncher Wlad ever saw) and fight then for a few rounds, because during the break, they show advertisments. If RTL earned enough, that's probably after 6, 7 rounds, they can fight serious. If they have a diamondchin like Wach as opponent or the roadrunner, Haye, they will fight the full distance.
Wach showed a great chin against a more aggressive Wlad then we are used to. Wilder has yet to prove he can even go the distance and I can't see him bombing out Wach like Liakhovich. I don't think he could stop Wach, Wlad hits as hard if not harder and if he can't stop him, Wilder won't be able to either.
Wach is the kind of fighter Wilder needs to fight to prepare for the Klitschko's. Big Eastern European fighters.
The only difference though, is that Wlad doesn't really commit to his punches like Wilder. If Wilder has Wach anywhere close to the ropes and the lest bit hurt, Wach is going to see some windmill shlt like he's never seen before..
I actually think the 'windmill' punches work in his favor. They are awkward and people are not used to them. Just how Vitali Klitschko uses his 'awkwardness' to his advantage it works and is effective. I don't think the 'windmilling' is a bad thing really. Here is the deal with Wilder he hasn't gone past 5 rounds he has been knocked down by complete bums and his management are are doing him no favors with these fights they are not developing him properly. When he gets in there with a complete pro he is going to have serious problems because of his inexperience. We have all seen this story before. Last night was his 'Ron Lyle' fight like what Cooney did to Lyle he destroyed a shopworn shot veteran. It looks good on tv and on paper but in reality it doesn't do anything except for maybe hype. Wilder is a likeable guy but his team is not developing him correctly and he is going to get eaten alive as soon as they put him in a big fight. Heck they might just are about the money and have no intention of developing him and having him cruise to a title shot but the results will be worse than what we saw way back in 1982 because Cooney was a much better fighter than Wilder is.
Good point. Also, Wladimir opened up a little in the Wach fight, if at least more than usual. We all saw how well Wach stood his ground, though, be his performance largely aided by PEDs or not. As of now, I think even unmedicated Wach takes Wilder out.
People keep talking about wilder being a bum, glass jawed etc. when the entire heavyweight division is absolute trash, beside maybe the Klits, Wilder has a good chance to beat anyone at heavyweight, there are no, I repeat no elite heavyweights today but the two Ukrainians...everyone else is suspect and prone to being knockout any given night by Wilder... As soon as he faces a so called top ten opponent and blasts them out the same mutha****as will be back here saying he's still not tested, yada yada, blah blah...let the dude at least lose first before you hoes start hating...
Judging by how some poster are responding, Wilder might not ever truely be "tested". What if Wilder were to blow through pulev, tony, fury and wlad without being touched ? Im not saying its gonna happen but if he has a good chin, his speed/explosiveness, reach, etc might allow it
