Is it because he hasn't been hit yet? Or is it because he's been rocked rocked in the past? I've only seen Wilder a couple of times so havn't a clue. If he has a decent chin though he may well turn out to be a very good haveyweight. I believe boxing needs a top American heavyweight and I'm hoping Wilder is that Heavyweight.
He was rocked in his 12th fight back in 2010. Plus, people are skeptical of his management's reluctance to put him in with huge punchers.
Because he was dropped pretty hard by Harold Sconiers, dropped/slipped vs Dustin Nichols (you decide) and was KO'd as an amateur by a Russian Cruiserweight, forget his name, big puncher though. He has improved his defence since then by the looks of things, if he had an iron chin, he would be unstoppable.
Okay Cheers. I hope he can get that defence together, sure look at what Wlad has done with a suspect chin. As I say, the sport needs a top American heavyweight.
Man if Steward was alive he would be training Wilder after the egg retires. Wilder needs a better trainer and he could go a long way. I really don't think his chin is great but time will tell. He is about to step up so we will see. Its not good he has never went past 4. I remember when Vitali was 26-0 with 26 KO's. It is time for Wilder to step up some more. I didn't expect his to win by first round KO last night. I would like to see him in with Wlad. Wlad does not respond well to fighters that come right at him. Wilder vs Wlad would not last 4 rounds. Both have major power and no chin.
wilders chin is fine.lennox lewis was stopped in the ameteurs as well and the list could go on.but i'm in no mood for the nonesense.i'm enjoying this win and look forward to the next one. i'm just gonna keep on enjoying his fights for a very loooooooong time.it's gonna suck for the haters. :hey
