To keep things nice and simple, I'll say what we all know, Golovkin would rearrange the face of Curtis "Da Shawotyme" Stevenzzz

What a chump!! He gets offered the most money in his career, on par with Macklin, who has a resume light years better than Stevens, and he turns it down....LMAO how stup!d can one be.... If he is soooo confident in beating GGG he takes the nice payday and a win over GGG propels him into the spotlight for very big fights. No business sense at all....where's Winky Wright to guide him on the correct path....LOL

I see 2 alts still at it, not sure that's enough fans. The 10-1 underdog fringe challenger is already getting near purse parity with undefeated champ. If you can't see a duck, maybe you should stick to observing ****.

If Stevens never had any intention of taking this fight he should have kept his mouth shut about GGG. What did he think was going to happen when he called out Golovkin/ Curious how so many of these dopes think they can seell fights with talk and/or bide their time for bigger paydays. More often than not it winds up going horribly awry for them.

Just because Haye pulled it off does not make it a blueprint for monitary gain. Of course taking a fight for market value and winning impressively is a sure fire foute to maximize financial gain.

Lmao stevens isn't even worth 300k, and he still turns it down. Pathetic. Who the **** has he beat to even warrant a 6 figure payday?

Stop caring if you don't like the fight.

Next step is that K2 (after email from HBO, perhaps) will send a bit bigger offer and it gets made. Or they'll meet later with more hype and demand.

Don't get me wrong; I definitely want to see this next,
but $300k for fighting that murderer isn't some fawking blessing.

HBO is seriously lowballing Gennady as well, if figures mentioned are correct.

This is a good post. GGG is not making much more than the 300K he offered Stevens. According to the clowns on here K2 only offers slave contracts. How many options did they force on Stevens if he actually wins the fight?

C'mon losers! Everyone knows this generous, option free offer is somehow K2's fault and Stevens is the victim of discrimination. RIGHT???

Golovkin made 350K when he fough Macklin. You figure he would make between 450k-600k against Stevens 300K. It's not like Golovkin is making 2 million.

He has had 28 fights, your saying he didn't pull in an average of 10k per fight? Get real.

Here's the purse for Quillin's last fight on Showtime: Quillin 340k, Guerrero 100k. But I hear they're offering 500k purses to B sides on NBC Sports. Just kidding, more like 10k. He should go Wealth TV, they must be true to their name.

Actually he's probably not off by that much. 10k is FNF main event level. Most of his fights were well below that level.

He wishes he made 10k a fight when he first started off, probably didn't even make that much against Dirrell or Brinkley
