I always thought Cotto would win he would bring too much pressure to JMM
the bodyshots would affect Marquez late

Cotto was a very lucky fighter at 147.

He nutpunched his way out of trouble against Zab... TWICE.
He was given a break so the ref could wipe sweat off the floor against Shane.
He won a straight gift decision against Clottey, after running from Rounds 6-12.

Marquez is too precise, and Cotto never had the best chin or stamina in the world. This would not be Miguel's finest moment.

Cotto was never in any danger against Mosley. If you're referring to the beginning of the 9th round, when Shane was on the offensive, he was the one who looked to the ref to wipe the sweat off of the canvas.

This, mostly because of Marquez's new found punching-power. If they were both drug tested properly, then I'd pick Cotto.

Marquez by late KO, Cotto always starts at a decent pace & wouldnt be suprised if he scores a knockdown early as Marquez has a cold chin, but Cotto fades late & I'd expect Marquez to break him down.
