What worrys me is geale's workrate might gives him the decision. I really think barker needs to fight a mixture of counterpunching when geale comes forward open and throws lots of punches and a combination of jabbing long range looking for openings. Still concerns me geale is a great 12 round fighter, barkers good work is early to mid rounds. I really can't call out a clear winner barker wins on skills but can he keep geale off for 12 rounds?
Anyone know if this is free on Sky Sports next week? I know they have Sky Sports 1 free to 'every household' for the start of the football so you can see the Leeds and Man Utd matches, but does this continue into the early hours or will it end before midnight?
Why is the location relevant ? :huh Has the makings a very good fight between what would seem to be two evenly matched boxers.
i'v never been blown away by geale, i thought sturm did enough to beat him. Barker by UD or stoppage.
This fight belongs either in the UK or Oz,where presumably these guys have a fan base, thats why.The arena in AC will be empty. Typical Gary Shaw promotion.:tired
If it was in OZ HBO wouldn't have shown the fight, and Geale as the Champ probably wouldnt come to the UK so America was the place for it
A bit late replying on this one...but no, Pick TV has now gone back to it's usual. Seems it was only being done for the football as far as I can tell unfortunately. As for the fight, Geale UD I reckon too.
