I tried to list fighters who fought in Light Heavyweight for most (if not all) of their career. Not an all-time-great list but a scramble of fighters in a tourney. Please note stylistic implications.

Out of those fighters I would have a Foster vs Jones final. It kills me to say it but Jones wins that fight. On points. Stylistically I had Johnson doing very well but jones's speed and clever way of avoiding an actual exchange edges Johnson and Foster who he would not engage.

I dont think Jones beats laughran, Moore, Tunny, Patterson, Spinks or Charles though.

That is not a prime Roy Jones, and it's conceivable that he could beat Foster prime for prime. It's a close fight.

yeah, please tell me who foster beat that says he'd easily beat jones? it'd be a tough fight for both guys. pierre fourie can go the distance twice with foster but jones wouldn't?

This is a very good point and as awesome as Bob was Pierre lasted and Finnegan went into the 14th before being laid out (Ray Anderson went the full 15 but he did it by not throwing punches and running without stopping for the entire 15). Jones chin was exposed later on and if were talking 15 rounds here I wouldn't be suprised if Bob caught him later on.

Based on the set up you have designed (not sure what line of reasoning was used for the seedings?)...

I envision Johnson vs Foster in the finals with Johnson taking a comfortable decision.

Ezzard Charles is the LHW SRR. He has the style to beat 'em all.
