Floyd wins over Cotto was more dominant and more impressive IMO . I was not impressed at all by Trouts win over Cotto and felt the fight was close .
Yet style makes fights , Floyd can be out worked by Austin . If Trout stays busy like he typically does and plus the fact he's a Legit heavy 154 pounder . Floyd's lack of pop and low output gives Trout a very good chance to prevail .

I see Floyd being hesitant at times in this fight , Trout the much bigger stronger awkward southpaw with decent speed of his own would give him a frustrating fight .

This fight would play out like Judah/Mayweather without Judah giving up
Mentally and continuing his early dominance .

Trout simply has the style to challenge and beat Floyd

I think it would be a clear UD for Floyd. Austin is a good fighter with pretty good technical ability. But by the 4th or 5th round, Floyd would have him figured out and start landing that right hand with no problem. i could even see Trout get dropped at some point in the fight.

Styles make fights and Trout could keep it competitive for a while. But I think the stage would be far too big for Austin and I'd expect an 8-4 scorecard in favor of Mayweather.

Gifted fighter but very much beatable , from reading your post it sounds as if you expect everyone to quickly dismiss any fighters chances when it comes to Floyd Mayweather .

No Canelo has a good chance of beating him and I've said that for sometime. But if there is a stoppage I see it being Canelo getting the business. One more thing someone is going to give him that first loss I'm saying Alexander or Thurman don't laugh.

If Floyd somehow knocked Alvarez out in the very 1st rnd . It would still be irrelevant and would not determine how Trout would fare against Floyd .

Trout is a different fighter , he has different tools compared to Canelo . Once again I'll repeat myself...

    STYLES MAKES FIGHTS .

You should be well aware of this by now .

Even though Trout lost to Alvarez, I still think he would be hell for Mayweather. He has the tools to trouble Mayweather's style. He has height, reach, serious activity/stamina and can take a punch. Only thing he's missing is power.

So what exactly about Trout's style is so troublesome to Mayweather? Is Trout going to outbox him?
