Fu.ck asking Macklin's nobody as.s. Broner....24 3 World titles in 3 divisions Golovkin....31 1 crap strap in the shi.ttiest division in boxing. Broner.....making millions per fight. Golovkin..... fighting for Gypsy tears:rofl
Giving the #1 MW a very big problem doesn't mean shi,.t nowadays...truth is...Macklin ain't never been shi.t. WHO DID HE ACTUALLY BEAT??? Some say he beat the dreaded Felix Strum SO WHAT That Eurobum was almost killed in the ring by WASHED-UP feather-duster Javier Castillejo
Geales best wins Close fight with Sturm (could have gone either way) who should have lost vs Macklin Average Sylvester who's best win was vs old Castillejo Old Mundine fought bums since year's and was ko'ed by Garth Wood. Was ko'ed by featherfisted Ottke GGG best wins Proska already beat Sylvester he is clearly a better fighter than Sylvester GGG ko'ed him in 5 Macklin who beat Sturm but was robbed, had a close fight with Martinez too. GGG ko'ed him in 3 old Kassim Ouma Proska > Sylvester Ouma = Mundine Macklin = Sturm
Riccardo mayorga beat Vernon forrest twice, who beat shane mosley twice, who beat Oscar de la hoya. who destroyed mayorga.... woulda, shoulda, coulda doesn't work ...just like comparisons don't geale's last 3 fights destroy anything 3G has done any which way you spin it
When someone like Stevens, after all his talk, rejects a career-high payday to fight Golovkin, that shows you the trouble he has getting guys to step into the ring with him.
3G are offering him good money too. 3G needs to stay busy and all his best options are not available until next year stevens can sell this fight and its a good fight for both teams...if stevens wants it
His team are adamant that he's going to fight another 2 times this year. If guys like Stevens aren't willing to fight him though, it's clearly going to be a struggle to get the top guys. I'm left hoping that Murray's visa problems will be sorted out.
The Duva's claim the offer was not rejected. GG has been a pro for 7 years. That means he was around when Arthur Abraham..Kelley Pavlik..Chavez Jr were at 160. WHERE THEY DUCKING HIM TOO??? Where was he THEN?? GG has a shi.tty reasume and it can't be excused or explained away.. HBO is matching GG like he is some young prospect. ...just look at his last fights....HORRIBLE comp.. Rosado...KTFO at 154 by Angulo's slow-motion as.s.. Ishiida... lost 3 prior fights...,how the hell did he get a title shot??? You mean to tell me everybody else was scared but that trash?? I'm not buying that. Golovkin is going to let you guys down HARD...there is a reason he's been brought along so slowly:deal 31 y/o and he's still on training wheels....hmmm...I wonder why that is
Another reason Macklin accepted is that it's a really good offer, that he can't sniff elsewhere. GGG made 350k, do you really expect the B side challenger to be making more that the champ? Hell even this is way too close to purse parity
A really feeble and transparent attempt at diversion. Why should I care how much GGG gets paid, as long as he doesn't care? It'd be a problem if he was pricing himself out, not in. Not only this, you're clueless if you think GGG made even 1/3 of 300k before he got on HBO. Here, memorize this purses, maybe the mental exercise will put you on the right track:
No, I can't think of any good reason why Top Rank didn't put Pavlik in with a 14-fight novice like Golovkin, who had nothing but a good amateur record and a little buzz with hadcore fans. We know how adventurous Arum always was with Chavez Jr, so it's a bit of a shock they didn't put im in the ultimate high-risk/low-reward with an unknown Golovkin. Sturm and N'Kijam seemed very eager to fight GGG too. I'm starting to think this all is his fault. Other fighters are clearly willing to face him, so I can't figue out why he hasn't fought a slew of big names.
