Slickest fighter ever?

    Thanks pal.

    I guess the final point I will make is that I find that boxing fans respect the art of fighting regardless of skin color. Courage and skill always triump of bigotry.

    I know that you know that. I appreicate your sensitivities to that issue.

    Been watching a lot of him lately. A bit of a revelation as I was watching boxing when he was active but didn't pay much attention to him.

    Mayweather Jr is very very slick. Roy Jones was quite slick as well.

    Twenty nine posts down, and I have had a glass or three of wine so take this with a pinch of salt, but I see no 'Slapsie' Maxie Rosenbloom...

    Whether it was helping the hungry poor journeyman, earn another pay day in the depression, on the back being able to tell the local promotor he had just 'gone ten with Maxie' or by making the contender look an amateur hitting thin air for ten rounds; Rosenbloom showed time after time he was as slick as they came, and could fight again the next day if need be...
