Who has Crawford beaten that makes his record better than Burns? You didn't answer that question, what the hell do we know about Crawford, at least we've actually seen Burns tested multiple times and he's come through the fire, it's pretty easy for a prospect to look good against journeymen like Crawford has faced his entire career except for his last two fights, Max Kellerman had the balls to say Crawford was the best lightweight in the world

If someone from anywhere else in the world had that claim made about them with Crawfords record, it would be laughed out of court, but hey, Crawford is slick, black, and American, so yeah, he'd surely school Burns and Vazquez and Abril, you know, actual established, world class fighters, on a level at which Crawford has never fought

I'm not on about one fight though, when's he fought any top level guy lol... when he won the title that's it. Prescott is actually a decent fighter though, ricky got schooled by, although i think he was no.2 ranked?? (could be wrong) he was an unknown and really shouldn't of done what he did, the fight goes 12 he would of won easy. He gassed and it seemed maybe had mental issue at the fact he hadnt got ricky out of there (which i give ricky respect for)

I agree, he hasn't fought the best but the fact is, he's american and will draw views + money so ricky should be fighting these guys. He'l somehow find a way out of it though.. maybe he can't make 135 anymore??

 

Its simple Ricky was only given 6-7 weeks notice to fight Broner and that wasnt long enough, i would still love to see that fight happen

 

That's a fair reason but was there not more than one occasion when this fight could of been made?

 

I have no feud with anyone but Joe should just keep his trap shut and try and guide his fighter into a challenging position,afterall hes only just in the top 15,what about the guys who have been top 10 for 12 months or so are they not more deserving?

Think you should fight a champion before you start saying Ricky will beat Broner. Broner is proven at world level and Ricky isn't.

When Ricky goes into camp we train for at least 10 weeks, that in my eyes gets Ricky to the required fitness and sharpness levels required for 12 rounds, so to be given only 6-7 weeks to fight Broner whos an excellent fighter in the states was not on.Dont you agree or do you think a fortnight should do the trick?
