    As I have pointed out a few times in this thread P4P lists are based on who are the best fighters today(11/08/13) not on entire careers. I don't have any of them on P4P lists that's the point but Floyd beating the same opponents and in most cases in a less decisive manner seems to elevate him to undisputed #1.

    Fantasy H2H do not count. For example I think GGG would beat Martinez if the fight happens but until it does I will rank Martinez higher.

    No, he's #1 because he's quite clearly the best P4P fighter in the world today. Pacquiao was up there, but then he looked like absolute **** against Bradley and got KTFO by JMM who Floyd completely outclassed. Anyone can come along and have one good showing ie Josesito breaking Ortiz' jaw, but his very next fight against Canelo proved he didn't belong anywhere near the top of the P4P list if his previous losses to journeymen hadn't already.

    Not thinking he is the best fighter in the world doesn't affect my ability to enjoy his skills.

    There'a no way he's NO.1 right now. He's the biggest draw, no doubt. But name another sport where the so called best can go against sup par opposition and still stay at NO.1. Just look at what he and other fighters like Ward have done in the past 3 years. There's no caparison.

    Wrong PBF has been the best fighter in the sport of this era. He's undefeated seldom losses rounds and is cleary the best boxer in the sport. If not PBF then who? JMM? Can't be him PBF already schooled him. Ward? Not active enough but will probably take over when PBF retires. No good case can be made for anyone other than PBF.

    If Ward is not active enough then I assume you didn't have Mayweather ranked in 2009,10,11 and 12.

    Ward hasn't fought since Dawson and doesn't even have an opponent scheduled. I like Ward and think he's the most complete boxer in the sport next to PBF but facts are facts. PBF has a built up longevity and his record and dominance speaks for itself.

    OK. So is Martinez P4P #1, the one who clearly lost to Murray? Or is Andre Ward, whose CV is laughable compared to Floyd. Or JMM, who Floyd whooped from start to finish?

    If your saying he is not number 1 then please do enlighten me as to who holds a similar CV?

    Ward's inactivity is killing him, He is very good but you can't stay on top when you are commentating instead of boxing.
