Despite it only being for the WBC strap, the WBA also sanctioned Roid-Milkdud as being for the imaginary vacant WBA(Super) title.

Roid was still The Ring light-heavyweight champ and rated at light-heavyweight. Tarver was merely a title holder and a highly ranked contender in the independent rankings. Neither of these roiding clowns were "the man" - except in your simple mind - when you were fantasizing over them.

Roy never lost the WBA in the ring, I am not actually sure the difference, but I know they gave the Super WBA to Roy, and he defended it several times..

Tarver was the undoubtedly the best LHW in the world after shot DM lost... The highest rated world champ, and clearly the best and most dangerous fight for Roy to take at the weight.. Anything else you would call ducking.. So I don't want to hear it.

Not to mention even Roid recognized and wanted the WBO title by then - Sanders being stripped of it was Roid's excuse for backing out of the Sanders fight after all.

I looked further into it, and the WBA changed Roy's title to the Super WBA after he beat Harding before he fought Harmon.. So if you don't want to call it a major title, ill give that to you.. I also looked where the WBA ended up, it looks like Lou Del Valle drew with Bruno Girard for the vacant, and Bruno would take it for a stint with a win over Robert Koon..

Anyway after Jones' victory over Tarver, it looked something like this..

Roy Jones, WBC, Super WBA, IBO , Ring Magazine LHW Champ, Rated #1 P4P

Silvio Brano WBA LHW Champ

Julio Gonzalez- WBO LHW Champ

IBF- Vacant title, that Clinton Woods and Glen Johnson failed to claim.

Now, I have presented pretty factual evidence, that Roy Jones was the man.. And you will only make yourself look even more a fool, trying to argue this.

Gonzalez was the Lineal and WBO champion, and was to lose to Erdei in his first defense. Roid then Milkdud were The Ring/WBC/Imaginary WBA(Super) champ.

After the forgettable shitty Roid-Tarver-Journeyman Plodder series alongside Erdei's reign, a genuine elite top fighter in Hopkins moved up, and exposed & outclassed the average Tarver. Hopkins was then clearly the "best" light-heavyweight while Erdei was Lineal until he retired.

Yes, Gonzalez was Lineal champ for beating shot DM, Roy was the undisputed "man" in the division.. The facts I presented above pretty much prove that without doubt. As Roy completely wiped the floor with Gonzo... Gonzo just wasn't held in regard to being "the man" with Roy Jones being a major world titlist and p4p best fighter in the world the at the weight..

If you are really trying to call Gonzalez the man over Roy Jones, then you are more stupid than I thought. Roy Jones was just a superior fighter to Gonzalez all the way around, he was in a different league, and he beat the hell out of him in the ring.. This is one we don't have to leave to the imagination.

Why does Hopkins get credit as the man for beating Tarver but not Roy? This is where your hate for Roy clouds your logic.. As in the facts presented above.. AT THE TIME of Roy's victory over Tarver, he clearly had more claim to being the man than ANY other world champion as I listed above, and no one disputed it.. NO ONE was disputing that Roy Jones was the man to beat, therefore the term UNDISPUTED, which obviously more than I just myself thought, because it was announced before many of his fights..
