I didn't boil his greatness down to anything. I merely pointed out the fact that his win over a prime Foreman is greater than anything either of the K Bros have ever done. Next time maybe try comprehending my post before responding to it, you ****wit.

People earn greatness, it is not given.

Ali earnt the very highest level of greatness which is universally recognized by the world of boxing and the world outside of boxing.

None of todays fighters have or ever will be recognized at that same level. There is a reason for that. Simply they do not and can not operate at the same elite level as Ali did.

You can argue you it as much as you like but the fact is the world and history see it as it truly is.

    End of story.

What was so great about it?

Has it ever occurred to you that Foreman wasn't this unbeatable mythical creature he has been made out to be in the first place?

He was schooled and decked by Jimmy Young FFS, get a grip. Boxing in the 60s and 70s was exciting, but don't get this confused with skill level.

heavyweights back in the day trained oldschool and not like these steroid abusers now a days. No fighter of this era could have went 15 rounds, hell most are gassed within 4 rounds, so please stop comparing these stiffs to legends.

THX thats real talk right there. Hell Kevin Johnson went 12 rounds with V. Klit and busted him up imagine if he threw 10 punches a round instead of 5!

Vitali's shoulder was not torn..they stopped the fight because Byrd was coming on and hurting him.

Watch the fight....he must have torn his should in his corner because he was punching normally from both sides.
