Abraham has been fighting at 168 lbs since 2009 and Taylor has been fighting at 168 lbs since 2008 I doubt Golovkin was even top ten before they moved up.

Yes there was a reason because he had a contract with F*** german Universumboxpromotion.
He never got a chance to prove himself vs top guys.
Felix Sturm ducked him for years

No diversion here, nor an agenda.

    Who are you working for?

Or are you indeed some zombie passionately siding with lowballing promoters of our sport? "Gennady doesn't care"?!? How the hell do you know that?

    OF COURSE HE CARES!

$350k/€262k for STAR headlining hours of programming on HBO is inexcusable.

He'd be now making more on German network with CET time slot. Yes, no?

Simple case of not walking the walk.

Stevens spoke out of his ass and now he(or more than likely his corner) are backing out:-(

No, that's NOT a llot when you KNOW you don't wanna' fk with GGG. Easy to understand. GGG will take it, because it's a safe, stay busy type of deal.

Well then he should take his business elsewhere if he's got better options. Dude what you're doing is pathetic. Whether he's underpaid (which I acknowledged in my that first post) or not has nothing to do with Stevens passing on a spectacular offer he was demanding 2 weeks ago.

And for the rest, he might be able to do marginally better elsewhere now that he's built up huge hype on HBO, but that would be tremendously near sighted. Hence I'm not surprised you bring it up an an option. The guy was fighting in Panama a few years back for 10k, I think 350k will do.

I see you still haven't processed this below. After all your idiocy, I say this is required reading before going any further. It's really brief, too many numbers?

Maybe it's where I'm unemployed right now, but $300,000 sounds like a lot to me. :hop

Anyway, if he were to lose to GGG, it wouldn't be the end of his career.

Pavlik, Taylor and Abraham all moved up around 2008/2009

in 2008/2009 Golovkin was fighting on small cards in Germany and held a record between 10-0/18-0 and wasnt known by anyone and didnt make his US debut until september last year

as for Chavez he was too busy waiting for Martinez to get old to acknowledge the guy who bullied him in sparring

    as for Chavez Jr.

Your expectations about boxer's purses are not in line with reality.

It's not just the $300,000, it's also a world title.....................If Stevens does not want to fight for a world title, then let him fight someone unranked..........
