Its possible he could fight again in December but 2 to 2 1/2 months is a pretty quick turnaround, especially from a promotion stand point.

If he does fight again in December I doubt its a big name opponent which would require more promotion.

I'd like to see him fight again if he beats Povetkin but I wouldn't be surprised to see him fight very early next year and look to get 3 or possibly 4 fights in next year.

Im not 100% certain, but i believe I recall during a not to distant Dan Rafael Chat, he said he had talked to Wladimir, and that the Povetkin fight , because of it's pushed back date would not be fighting again this yr.

They've also posted some pics from today's press kickoff with Povetkin in Moscow. Over at the Scene

I don't think anyones got a problem w Boystov as a voluntary but if its a scheme to blow off the Haye/Fury winner for 18mos than that's BS.

As for the Pulev/Thompson winner.....yeah they can fight again w/o losing their mandate provided they win.

Haye already had his chance and refused to engage and ran the whole fight. It was not even competitive. Who would would to sit through that boring crap fest again?

Well that's getting a bit ahead of himself. Still, that time of year it certainly wont be an outdoor stadium fight. Thus the purse isn't going to be enormous so the opponent wont be one of the name fighters out there. Perhaps the Ustinov vs Tua winner. Who would be ranked very high with a few orgs.

Is that meant to be a joke? Wlad has no business anywhere near Boytsov or the winner of Tua/Ustinov ...They are fights barely viable for the likes of Wilder or Jennings.....If Wlad gets past Povetkin he should be focused on Pulev and Fury if he beats Haye....His record padding at this stage of his career is an absolute disgrace....Its clear his goal his to milk the sport for evey penny he can before he throws in the towel..

Well you see you don't seem to be able to take yourself away from being a frantic hater to looking at this for what it is. A business perspective. What's the income going to be for this supossed fight when there will be little time to promote it? 3m euro from RTL, selling the fight to tv internationally and something like a 15'000 capacity crowd for an indoor fight. That isn't going to bring enormous money now is it? Do you really think Pulev is going to want 25% of that when next spring/summer with a stadium fight sees his purse sky rocket? Unless Fury beats Haye and brings Sky PPV to the fight this will not involve a serious opponent. If the fight did happen it would be someone with no chance coming for a 1 million euro maximum payday. Someone along the lines of Tua/Ustinov, Charr, Jennings, Dimitrenko. At best it could be Adamek or Solis.

Knowing you though you'd likely be in the camp of not fight at all rather than fight one of the above.

Yeah , I pitch my tent to that train of thought...Whats the point in fighting another bottom feeder. It reeks of nothing but greed and offers the sport nothing....People are sick and tired of watching Wlad selecting total no-hopers to club into submission...He has no business padding his record while holding all the HW belts in the world. Its inexcusable........Look at the career of Mayweather. Fights in a very competative division and takes on the best one after the other...He'd be eaten alive he took an easy cash grab fight..Thats a real champ. Wlad is a disgrace to the sport.

He's fighting Povetkin for fcuk sake! That's the equivalent of Mayweather fighting Pacquiao 4 years ago. Have a word with yourself fella.
